Establishing Strategic Partnerships: Making Integrative Medicine a National Agenda

As the Bravewell Collaborative’s work has reached a degree of maturity, effectiveness and accomplishment, opportunities have arisen for developing strategic partnerships to leverage the work of making integrative medicine a national agenda.

Chosen partners share the Bravewell mission, values, goals and standards of performance and effectiveness.  In seeking these partnerships, Bravewell recognizes the importance of scientific rigor in developing the best models of integrative care and the significant power that both the government and corporate communities have as major purchasers of healthcare and influencers of healthcare policy.

Bravewell has identified the following organizations as highly strategic in changing the way healthcare is delivered in this country:
•    National Institutes of Health
•    The Prince’s Foundation for Integrated Health
•    Robert Wood Johnson Foundation
•    National Coalition for Cancer Survivorship
•    National Committee for Quality Assurance
•    Doris Duke Charitable Foundation
•    Arnold P Gold Foundation
•    National Business Group on Health
•    American Association of Retired Persons
