Christina DiNicola, MD, FAAP

Christina DiNicola, MD, FAAP, graduated from Stanford University with a BA in human biology. Her area of concentration at Stanford was "Children, Family & Public Policy" and she received a certificate of completion in the Children & Society Curriculum from the Stanford Center on Adolescence. Dr. DiNicola earned her medical doctorate degree at the University of Medicine and Dentistry-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and completed her residency training in pediatrics at The Children's Hosiptal of Philadelphia. After her training at CHOP, she joined South Philadelphia Pediatrics full time in 2006. She is board certified in pediatrics, a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. DiNicola is also the Founder and Medical Coordinator of the new Reach Out and Read Program at South Philadelphia Pediatrics. In her personal time she enjoys travel, physical fitness, rock climbing, biking, hiking, kayaking, reading and cooking. She lives in Philadelphia with her wonderful husband, Damian.
