Raneth Heng, MD

Dr. Heng received her medical degree from the Oregon Health & Science University School of Medicine in Portland and her undergraduate degree in sociology from Barnard College, Columbia University in New York. She completed a residency at Texas A&M University College of Medicine’s Family Medicine Residency Program, where she was voted outstanding family medicine resident. Dr. Heng is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Medical Association. Dr. Heng is in a transition year fellowship at Scripps Center for Integrative Medicine focusing on blending conventional medical treatments with evidence-based complementary therapies. She has advanced training in medical hypnosis and healing touch. Dr. Heng believes in partnering with, supporting and guiding patients to make the best possible choices for their health and well-being. She is particularly interested in utilizing the mind-body connection to diagnose and treat illness.
