Martin Ehrlich, MD, MPH
Martin was born in New York City and moved to Brookline, Massachusetts where he attended Brooklin High School and played on the State Championship Football Team. Martin attended the University of Rochester and earned a BA in Foreign and Comparative Literature. Martin attended the Medical School at Columbia University and earned his Masters in Public Health, Certification in Acupuncture, Functional Medicine and Homeopathy.
Martin did his Residency in Internal Medicine at Harlem Hospital/CPMC and served as Chief Resident. He was a member of the new Division of General Internal Medicine where he was involved in residency training, research, program development and served on the hospital’s Quality Improvement Committee. Martin served at Montefiore Hospital/Albert Einstein College Of Medicine and was an assistant firm leader in the Department of Medicine, and was involved in residency training, teaching, curriculum development and served on various hospital committees. Martin has been working at The Continuum Center for Health and Healing since 2003 and in December 2008 will become the Center’s Medical Director. As Medical Director, Martin will be responsible for managing the practice; optimizing patient care, finances and enhancing communication among the practitioners and staff.
Martin is a devoted yoga practitioner and bicycle rider and loves good food and music. He is married to a beautiful and talented woman and has two beautiful daughters.
