Christopher Suhar, MD
Dr. Suhar was initially born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. His family has a strong background in architecture and construction which naturally led him to become a mechanical engineer. While working on machines and robots was exciting, Dr. Suhar missed the personal contact with people. It was this longing for personal interactions and his father's long history of multiple medical problems that convinced him to enter the field of medicine.
Dr. Suhar underwent medical training in northern Ohio and then a combined internal medicine and pediatrics residency in Loma Linda, CA. Dr. Suhar gave up pediatrics and is now training as an adult cardiology fellow at Scripps Green Hospital in San Diego, CA. During his residency, Dr. Suhar realized the importance of lifestyle modification and quickly became interested in the integrative approach. He is specializing in integrative cardiology as a subset of his fellowship.
