Membership Opportunities
The Bravewell Collaborative is an operating foundation comprised of people from a variety of backgrounds who work together in partnership with medical leaders across the nation to promote the principles of integrative medicine. Members are dedicated to best practices in philanthropy, to strategic programs with high impact, and to growth and learning.
Members' donations to this operating foundation receive maximum deductibility. Unique governance structures and respect for differing interests have resulted in great flexibility in giving for its members.
The Bravewell Collaborative is looking to welcome a limited number of philanthropists with good hearts and minds who are committed to the Bravewell Collaborative's mission, to each other as working partners, and to the principles outlined in the Declaration For a New Medicine. The Bravewell Collaborative is also seeking Partners, Associates and Friends who would like to join this important and challenging initiative to transform healthcare.
Becoming part of the Bravewell Collaborative community offers
philanthropists a chance to work side by side with like-minded people
to help transform healthcare and return the soul to medicine. The work
itself is deeply gratifying, but so, too, are the community and
friendship that members enjoy when they are part of the Bravewell
Collaborative circle. Members gather twice a year to review progress and plan for the
future. During these meetings, members engage with leading
physicians and top healthcare officials from across the nation;
participate in continuous learning about integrative medicine; and
enjoy the satisfaction of seeing their philanthropy yield far-reaching
results.

Board of Directors
Limited to 25, these philanthropists make a significant ongoing monetary contribution and time commitment to the Bravewell Collaborative and its initiatives. Members of the Board of Directors are the only voting members of the Bravewell Collaborative.
Collaborative Members
Members who apply and have been approved by the Executive Committee commit to a $150,000 contribution over three years. Members are part of the Bravewell Collaborative community and while not present at the business meeting, enjoy full benefits, are invited to attend the semi-annual meetings, and may serve on initiative committees.
Friends of the Collaborative
Friends contribute any appropriate amount and are part of the Bravewell Collaborative extended circle.
Philanthropic Partners
These philanthropic institutions provide significant side-by-side funding or pro bono services.
Corporate Partners
These companies and institutions share Bravewell Collaborative's mission and provide services or funding for joint projects that advance the field.
